This premium quality line of specimen containers consists of 60 ml, 90 ml, wide 90 ml, and 120 ml sizes for leakproof transportation.
Containers are ideal for use in harsh transport conditions or in pneumatic tube systems. All vials are manufactured from clear, flexible, crack-resistant polypropylene. The streamlined straight-sided vials are stable, stackable, and save space in storage. There are graduation markings on three sides. All sterile containers have a tab on the label to ensure the sterility integrity of the container. Midstream kits consist of a LeakBuster™ container and a castile soap wipe. Kit 14211-750 comes with a 90 ml container and an affixed funnel. Kit 14211-752 comes with a 120 ml container.
All caps are designed with a full circle thread, which prevents the cap from cross threading and leaking. The O-ring cap is designed to grip the top and sides of the vial. The vial fits into the groove of the cap for additional contact, and a better seal. The lined cap is manufactured with a polypulp liner coated with polyethylene. Due to the resilience of the lining material, it provides extra protection against leaks. QuickTurn is a cap and vial combination that has a double thread design, which allows the cap to be securely affixed with only a quarter turn.
Each polypropylene container is lot numbered and features clear graduations. The wide 90 and 120 ml containers feature a QuickTurn™ cap closure for easy application. Sterile containers have an orange cap and tamper tab patient label. The patient identification labels meet current JCAHO standards. Nonsterile containers have a yellow cap and a non-tabbed patient label. The standard 90mL container is also available in an opaque polypropylene for discrete transport. A space saver dispenser box of twenty 90 ml containers is convenient for laboratories and doctor's offices. Ideal for operating room use, both the 90 and 120 ml containers are packaged in a sterile, clear plastic peel pouch.
