Closures Test/Sample Tube Closures
Six styles of caps to choose from and two sealing types: O-Ring seal and lip seal

The silicone O-Ring caps are made of polypropylene. Will withstand temperatures from -196 to 121°C and autoclaving. The lip seal caps are made of high density polyethylene. Will withstand temperatures from -196 to 110 °C.

The cap is molded with a deep internal lip that fits snugly against the interior wall of the tube thus preventing the contents from coming in contact with the seal or threads, thereby reducing the chances of sample contamination. The cap’s high profile facilitates manipulation especially in aseptic procedures. All tubes and closures are manufactured in a clean environment.

Certifications: Certified RNase-, DNase-, Pyrogen- and DNA-free.

Ordering information: Tubes sold separately; please see T341 and T361 Series for tubes. Closures can be color coded by the use of T345 Series colored Capinsert™ inserted on the top of the closure. This is accomplished without removing the cap.
