These services are for the Bactron 300, 600 and 900 series of anaerobic chambers, excluding BactronEZ
Calibration Services are availabile to calibrate the temperature to a customer stated set point. The test configuration uses multi-point thermocouples (9 probes minimum) usually with 4 run minimum stable run times. When a customer wants multiple temperatures, we can test these parameters, but the unit can be calibrated only to one set point at a time. We will require the final number at which the unit will be calibrated when it ships. The documentation will show data for all requested calibration set points. Standard documents are Certificate of Calibration and graphs (shipped with the unit and .pdf version for email if needed).
The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is a customized test procedure for different types of systems and the tests are executed at the factory. The actual test details and elements are specified by the customer and agreed to by the company so that the test protocols are mutually specified. Prior to delivery, customers want to make sure that equipment operates as intended without disturbances occurring on site. In achieving this, customers are therefore able to verify that all specifications and contractual requirements have been met. In some cases, the customer may want to witness the testing as is the case with FAT. This is a custom quoted service for each type of test needed (i.e. CO2, temp, RH, load configuration, etc.).
The Certificate of Conformity is a serial number specific testing option which is done to verify the unit will perform to and meet all stated specifications. This includes Hipot, Ground Bond, Current draw for max settings, and calibration (when applicable). Testing is designed in such a way as to verify all operational aspects, but we may not test each specific attribute (for example, the unit max current draw and controller operation will tell us the unit is capable of heating to max temperature without actually heating to the stated max temperature). Standard documents are Certificate of Conformity and QA check list (scanned and kept on file). Additional Offering is the QA Check Sheet; these are scanned on unit completion, and can be provided “On Request-FOC”. These documents are kept a minimum of 7 years from date of manufacture.
The Extended Warranty Plan extends the equipment’s original warranty for an additional 1 year parts and labor (US and Canada only). This plan provides unlimited labor, parts, and travel, along with priority phone and e-mail support. The Extended Warranty option is available only at the time of the original equipment order. It is not available once the unit has been delivered.
