Benchtop microcentrifuges are ideal for a broad range of bioresearch separation tasks in the microliter sample range, such as nucleic acid separation, protein isolation, and reaction set-up
Microcentrifuges are lightweight with a small footprint and feature a frequency-controlled, brushless induction drive motor for quiet, reliable, vibration-free operation. Steel armored rotor chamber interlocks with lid to provide uncompromised user safety. Standard and hematocrit 24-place rotors come with CAMR-certified ClickSeal™ biocontainment lid. Dual 18-place rotor comes with screw-on lid. Both microcentrifuges feature twelve second acceleration and deceleration for faster sample processing. Easy-to-read LED displays indicate speed and run time (plus temperature on Fresco model). Microprocessor controller ensures precise, reproducible results. Flat membrane keypad simplifies operation and makes cleaning easy. Parameter settings are maintained in memory until new data is entered — even in the event of a power outage. Rotor materials are autoclavable and designed to withstand vigorous cleaning.
Pico™ model centrifuges are ventilated. Fresco™ model centrifuges are refrigerated with an environmentally safe CFC-free refrigerant, and feature stand-still cooling that chills samples prior to use.
Certifications: CSA certified, CE Marked, IVD compliant, Certified Bio-containment.
