Made of pure cellulose treated with hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid, filter papers are used for straining with good retention and flow rates. These cellulose filters create a semi-permeable barrier perpendicular to a liquid or airflow in order to separate fine substances from liquids or air. Different grades of filter paper are available for performing various laboratory applications including routine lab work, ranging from coarse to fine filtration of particulates. VWR offers a wide range of qualitative and quantitative filter papers with varying pore size, particle retention, flow rate and filtration times.
Description:
Retention of very fine crystalline precipitates. The thinnest of all Whatman filter Paper. Slow flow rate. Hardened and highly glazed surface.
Description:
Wet Strengthened Grade 91 circles, 240 mm, 1000/pk (Subdivided into 100) A general purpose creped filter for less critical routine analysis. Widely used to assay sucrose in cane sugar.
Description:Filter paper, Hardened, low-ash, suitable for routine gravimetric analysis. Grade 392 has a medium filtering speed for standard tasks. Ash < 0.01% 320mm, pack 100
Description:
The Paper are made from pure cellulose without any additives and do not contain any substances which could influence the growth of the seeds.
Description:
Wet Strengthened Grade 93 circles, 150 mm,1000/pk (10 bags of 100 circles) This filter paper is intermediate in speed and retention between Grades 1 and 4. Available in a dispenser pack,
